This Privacy Policy describes how The Project Desk, a brand operated by Bedrock Growth Systems LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information through our website and services.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect information from:
a) Business Users (Contractors)
If you represent a home-service business and contact us, enroll in the Referral Partner Network, or request information about receiving homeowner appointments, we may collect:
- Name, role or title, company name, company website, email address, and phone number
- Service area, services provided, project preferences, project size preferences, and other business details you provide
- Whether you are acting as or affiliated with a regulated or licensed profession whose acceptance of referral compensation may be restricted
- Records of the consents and agreements you accept, including the text displayed to you, the version accepted, and the date, time, and IP address of acceptance
- Program activity, including referrals you submit, attribution records, appointment records, and reward or billing history
- Tax and payment information where required to issue or receive payment
Business contact information is collected in a commercial capacity. It is used to administer your company's participation in our programs, not to market home improvement services to you as a consumer.
b) Consumers (Homeowners)
- Name, phone number, email address
- ZIP code or service location
- Information related to a home service request
c) Website Usage Information
- IP address
- Browser type
- Pages visited
- Date and time of visits
2. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Respond to inquiries
- Facilitate home service requests
- Connect consumers with local service providers
- Schedule or confirm appointments
- Communicate regarding services
- Send marketing and promotional communications where you have consented to receive them
- Evaluate, approve, and administer participation in our contractor programs, including the Referral Partner Network and the contractor network for receiving appointments
- Attribute referrals, determine reward or appointment eligibility, and calculate and issue payments
- Detect and investigate fraud, abuse, and program violations
- Improve our website and offerings
- Comply with legal obligations, including tax reporting
3. How We Share Information
a) Service Providers
Information you submit through our website may be shared with one or more independent local service providers to fulfill your request and contact you regarding your inquiry and related services. These service providers are independent businesses and are not employees or agents of The Project Desk. We do not control and are not responsible for their actions, communications, or data practices.
b) Business User Information
Information you provide as a business user is used to administer your company's participation in our programs. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with other contractors in our network for their own marketing purposes.
Where a homeowner is matched with your company, the homeowner receives the information needed to identify and communicate with you. The categories of service providers that may receive homeowner information are described in our Partner List. We may use a category-based Partner List rather than publicly identifying individual participating businesses.
c) Vendors and Tools
We may share information with third-party vendors that support our operations, including website hosting, scheduling, communications, payment processing, and analytics.
We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers acting on our behalf may process this information only as necessary to provide messaging and other operational services to us.
This is distinct from the information a matched contractor receives. When a homeowner requests contractor assistance, we may provide the homeowner's contact information and project information to the contractor(s) selected to participate in that request, as described in this Policy and our Partner List. Our SMS opt-in records and messaging consent are not transferred to those contractors, and are not transferable among unrelated businesses.
4. Communications & SMS Terms
a) General Contact Authorization
Homeowners. By submitting information through our website and clicking "Start My Project," you authorize The Project Desk and selected local contractors participating in your request (see Partner List) to contact you via phone and email to follow up on your estimate request and coordinate your free estimate. Consent to receive text messages is separate and arises only when you affirmatively check the applicable SMS consent box; it does not arise from submitting a form on its own.
Business users. By submitting a contractor program form, you authorize The Project Desk to contact you by phone and email regarding your request and, if approved, your company's participation in the applicable program. This authorization runs to The Project Desk only; it does not authorize contact from contractors or any third party.
b) SMS Program
Our SMS messaging serves two distinct audiences — homeowners and business users — and each category below has its own consent. Consent to any one category is never a condition of another, of any purchase, or of participation in any program. Our full SMS Terms describe each category in more detail.
Homeowner messaging
Informational & Transactional Messages: By checking the SMS consent checkbox on our form, you agree to receive automated informational and transactional text messages from Bedrock Growth Systems LLC DBA The Project Desk and the specific service provider(s) matched to your request. These messages include estimate request confirmations, appointment scheduling and coordination, follow-up communications regarding your request, opt-in notifications, and service updates related to your project.
Marketing & Promotional Messages: If you separately check the marketing consent checkbox on our form, you also agree to receive automated marketing and promotional text messages from The Project Desk, which may include special offers, seasonal service reminders, and information about additional home improvement services. Marketing messages are sent only by The Project Desk; contractors participating in your request are authorized to contact you only regarding your request and related services. Consent to receive marketing messages is separate from, and not required for, informational and transactional messaging or any other service.
Business & contractor program messaging
If you represent a home-service business and separately check the SMS consent box on a contractor program form, you agree to receive automated non-marketing operational text messages from The Project Desk about your company's participation in that program. These are sent by The Project Desk only, and are not sent by contractors.
For the Referral Partner Network, these messages cover enrollment and approval status, referrals you submit, referral status and confirmations, reward and payout notifications, account and compliance notices, and other operational messages about your participation. For the contractor network, they cover your request to participate, appointment scheduling and coordination, account administration, billing, and other contractor-network operations.
Frequency varies and is ongoing for as long as your company participates, rather than limited to a single request. Marketing and promotional text messages are not sent under this category; any marketing SMS to a business contact requires its own separate consent.
You must be 18 years of age or older to participate in any of these SMS programs.
c) SMS Specific Terms
- Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from The Project Desk texts at any time. Replying STOP will unsubscribe you from all text messages sent by The Project Desk, including both informational/transactional and marketing messages. You will receive one final confirmation message after opting out and will receive no further messages unless you subsequently opt in again or otherwise provide new legally sufficient SMS consent.
- Assistance: Reply HELP to any message or contact us at info@theprojectdesk.com for assistance.
- Rates & Frequency: Msg & data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your interaction with our services.
- No Condition of Service: Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving an estimate or any other service.
- Carrier Liability: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Age Requirement: You must be 18 years of age or older to use this SMS service.
d) Email
You may opt out of marketing and promotional emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in those emails or by contacting us at info@theprojectdesk.com. We may continue to send non-marketing transactional, administrative, legal, security, referral, appointment, billing, payment, and other operational communications as permitted by law and any applicable program agreement.
e) Messages From a Matched Contractor
This section concerns messages a homeowner receives from a contractor, and is separate from the business and contractor program messaging described above.
Once a contractor is matched to participate in your request, they are responsible for their own communications and compliance with applicable laws. A STOP reply sent to a contractor applies only to that contractor's messages. To stop receiving messages from The Project Desk specifically, reply STOP to any message from our number.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy or as required by law.
6. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Request access to your personal information
- Request correction or deletion of your information
- Opt out of certain communications
Requests may be submitted to: info@theprojectdesk.com

We use advertising services, which may include Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), that use cookies and pixels to measure advertising performance and show you relevant ads, including on other websites (retargeting).
We also use third-party platforms to store contact information, send SMS messages, and manage leads submitted through our website. These providers process data on our behalf and are not authorized to use your information for their own independent marketing purposes.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, visit tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. To opt out of interest-based advertising, visit aboutads.info.

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
