Anything a contractor would normally go out and estimate — replacements, remodels, system work, installations, structural work. There’s no dollar minimum, but quick service calls and small handyman repairs generally aren’t a fit, because there’s no appointment to set. We’re booking estimates, not forwarding phone numbers. If you’re unsure, send it and we’ll tell you.

Send us a qualifying project. We take it from there: we confirm the details, match the homeowner with a contractor, and schedule the appointment. You earn once that appointment goes through and the contractor’s fee for it is final — in plain terms, once we get paid and keep it. Whether the homeowner attends or reschedules doesn’t decide it directly; it matters only insofar as it affects whether that fee stays final. You can ask us where any referral stands at any time.

Yes. Joining signs you up, but you become an active Referral Partner once we approve you and activate your referral link — typically within one business day. Referrals sent before you’re approved aren’t reward-eligible unless we accept them anyway, so it’s worth waiting for the go-ahead.

Yes, and it’s a required part of the program. Before or during the introduction, tell them plainly — something like “Just so you know, I may receive a referral fee from The Project Desk if your project results in an appointment with another contractor.” Most homeowners don’t mind at all; what causes problems is finding out later.

Rewards accrue as they’re earned and are paid out monthly. There’s no minimum balance — if you earn $25 this month, you get $25. If you’d rather be paid sooner than the monthly cycle, just ask. We can’t promise an exact date, since payment can be held up by verification or tax paperwork.

No. There’s no fee, no minimum, and no commitment to send us any particular number of referrals.

A referral only earns a reward if the property is in that area, though we can sometimes take a project just outside it — ask rather than assuming. If you’re nearby and unsure, join anyway and we’ll tell you straight what we can and can’t place.

We confirm what they’re trying to do and connect them with a vetted contractor in our network. They’re never sold to a call list, and they always know who has their information before anyone reaches out.

Yes, as long as it’s for a project you aren’t taking on yourself. What doesn’t earn a reward is a project we already had going, or substantially the same homeowner and project we received in the last 90 days. A genuinely different project for a homeowner we’ve helped before can still earn.
