Referral Rewards

Referral Reward Schedule · Version 1 · Effective August 26, 2026

Project examples are illustrative. The applicable reward tier is determined by the actual scope of the referred project when we receive it. A project listed as an example may fall into a different tier when its scope materially differs from the typical project represented by that category.

Tier A

$25

Standard Projects

Defined-scope repairs, replacements, installations and improvements.

Defined-scope repair, replacement, installation, and improvement projects generally centered on one trade, system, component, or specific area of the home. These projects warrant a qualified contractor appointment but typically involve limited design, structural work, or multi-trade coordination.

Typical examples: HVAC repair and replacement; water heaters; electrical panels and lighting; concrete driveways and slabs; fencing; flooring; painting and drywall; doors; limited window replacement; roof and siding repair; gutters; drainage; insulation; landscaping and irrigation; deck repair; fireplaces and chimneys; countertops and cabinet refinishing; smart-home systems; garage improvements; egress windows; and trim, built-ins, and woodworking.

Tier B

$50

Major Projects

Substantial room, system, structural and property improvement projects.

Higher-value projects involving a complete room, major home system, substantial exterior component, structural element, or significant property improvement. These commonly require greater labor, materials, technical expertise, permitting, or coordination than Standard Projects, but generally stop short of major additions, whole-home transformations, or extensive reconstruction.

Typical examples: Full roof replacement; partial- and whole-home window replacement; full siding replacement; solar and battery storage; bathroom remodeling; smaller kitchen remodels; partial basement remodeling; basement bathrooms and wet bars; decks, patios, and outdoor structures; sewer replacement; basement and foundation waterproofing; structural repairs; whole-home rewiring; generators; boilers and heat pumps; custom cabinetry; retaining walls; major landscaping; garage conversions; and masonry projects.

Tier C

$100

Large-Scale Projects

Extensive construction, remodeling, structural and restoration projects.

Extensive construction, remodeling, structural, restoration, and design-build projects involving major portions of the home or property, multiple trades or phases, significant structural changes, or substantial project coordination. These represent the largest and most involved opportunities in the network and often require design, engineering, permitting, or comprehensive project management.

Typical examples: Basement finishing and high-end basement buildouts; basement apartments and in-law suites; excavation and walkout conversions; major foundation repair and pier systems; garage additions; home and second-story additions; ADUs; whole-home and luxury remodeling; historic-home remodeling; open-concept structural conversions; full kitchen design-build; luxury primary bathrooms; landscape design-build; outdoor kitchens; sunrooms; and major water, fire, storm, and insurance reconstruction.

How we determine the tier

We classify each referral based on the actual project scope described when we receive it. Project value can be relevant, but reward tiers are based primarily on the nature and scope of the work rather than a fixed homeowner budget or contract price. The examples above are intended to show typical classifications, not to guarantee the tier of every project matching that description.

What qualifies

The Referral Partner Network is built around projects that warrant a contractor estimate or consultation. Every referral that earns a reward falls into one of the three tiers above.

Quick service calls, small handyman work, and similar limited-scope jobs fall below Tier A and do not earn a reward, even where we’re able to help the homeowner anyway. There is no dollar minimum — the test is whether the project is one a contractor would normally go out and estimate. If you’re not sure, send it. We’ll determine whether it qualifies and which tier applies.

Service area

A referral is reward-eligible if the property is within our current service area — the Denver metro area and surrounding Front Range — or if we expressly accept the referral as an exception. If a project is near the edge of our service area, ask before assuming. Service areas can change, and a change applies only to referrals received on or after its effective date.

When a reward is earned

A referral reward is earned once The Project Desk schedules a Qualifying Appointment for your referral and the corresponding contractor appointment charge becomes a Finalized Appointment Fee. Both terms are defined in the Referral Partner Terms.

This generally means the appointment charge has been applied or received, and the ordinary refund, credit, adjustment, and review period has passed without the charge being returned, credited, reversed, or otherwise restored.

In plain terms: you get paid once our appointment fee is final and we keep it.

Scheduling on its own doesn’t earn the reward. A cancellation, rescheduling, no-show, or other attendance outcome does not by itself determine whether a reward is earned. What matters is whether the corresponding appointment charge ultimately becomes a Finalized Appointment Fee.

We will not refund, credit, waive, or decline to charge an appointment fee primarily to avoid paying a reward that would otherwise be earned. Ask us any time where a referral stands.

We may also choose to pay a reward early, advance one, or pay in situations that wouldn’t otherwise qualify. That’s discretionary — an early payment is an advance unless we say otherwise, and one exception doesn’t set a precedent.

When a reward is not earned

  • You weren’t an approved Referral Partner yet when the referral came in, and we didn’t accept it anyway.
  • No qualifying appointment gets scheduled — the homeowner can’t be reached, isn’t ready, or the project can’t be matched.
  • The appointment fee never becomes final, or is refunded, credited, or reversed.
  • The property is outside the service area above.
  • The project falls below Tier A.
  • We already had substantially the same homeowner and project as an active opportunity, or received it within the previous 90 days.
  • The referral is a customer the referring company is taking on itself.
  • The referral wasn’t submitted through an accepted referral method, or the referral or your conduct does not comply with the Referral Partner Terms.

Only one reward is payable per project, no matter how many contractors are contacted or appointments scheduled. Genuinely separate projects for the same homeowner can each earn.

Attribution

Referral link attribution period: 90 days. A homeowner who opens your referral link may be attributed to you for up to 90 days, subject to the attribution, duplicate, and other eligibility rules in the Referral Partner Terms. A later qualifying referral source may supersede that attribution where those rules permit.

Link attribution depends on the homeowner’s own device and browser settings, which we don’t control, so use the link where you can but don’t rely on it alone. Referrals made by phone transfer, group text introduction, or advance notice are attributed when we receive them.

Duplicate lookback period: 90 days.

Payment

Rewards accrue as they’re earned and are paid out monthly. There’s no minimum balance — if you earn $25 this month, you’re paid $25. If you’d like an earned balance sooner than the normal monthly cycle, you may ask for an early payout, and we may accommodate off-cycle requests at our discretion. We can’t guarantee an exact processing or receipt date, and payment can be delayed for verification, tax or payment documentation, or a compliance review.

Raise any question about a reward within 30 days of the payment, or of the date we tell you or make available the decision you’re asking about, so we can look into it while the records are fresh.

We may require a completed IRS Form W-9 or other tax and payment documentation before issuing a reward. Referral Partners are responsible for their own tax obligations, and we may report payments as required by law.

Changes to this schedule

We may update this schedule from time to time. Changes apply only to referrals submitted on or after the effective date of the updated version — referrals already submitted are paid at the rate in effect when we received them. For a change to standard reward rates, the attribution period, or the duplicate lookback period, we’ll also notify you electronically.
