Homeowner projects matched to your business

You don’t need every project. You need the right ones.

We use your company’s preferences to determine which homeowner projects may be a fit — services you provide, service area, project type and scope, minimum or preferred project size, residential or commercial work, scheduling availability, lead time, and other requirements important to your company.

You decide what your company wants to receive, and we use those preferences when matching.

How it works

1

Tell us what you want

We learn what your company does, where you work, what size projects you want, and any other requirements that determine whether a homeowner project is a fit.

2

We qualify the homeowner

When a homeowner contacts The Project Desk, we confirm the project information needed to determine whether it matches your company — scope of work, property location, contact information, project timing, and other relevant criteria.

3

We coordinate the appointment

If the project matches your requirements and your company is selected for the opportunity, we coordinate an appointment between the homeowner and your team.

4

You take it from there

Your company handles the estimate, the sales process, pricing, the contract, and the work — directly with the homeowner. The Project Desk does not decide whether you take the project or what you charge.

Pay for appointments — not advertising activity

Instead of paying for clicks, impressions, or general advertising exposure, your company pays when The Project Desk delivers an appointment that meets the qualification requirements agreed to for your account.

No percentage of the job

You keep the revenue from the work you sell.

No campaign to manage

Participation can be managed around your company’s capacity and the terms applicable to your account.

Clear appointment criteria

We establish what counts as a qualified appointment before you begin receiving them.

Appointment pricing

Prices vary by project category, because the economics of a small service project are very different from a major remodel. Rather than one price for every job, we set appointment pricing based on project type, expected project value, qualification requirements, and market conditions.

Your pricing is disclosed in full before you begin receiving appointments.

What counts as a qualified appointment?

Qualification varies by service, but the goal is simple: you should know what you’re paying for before an appointment reaches your company.

  • A real homeowner requesting help with an eligible project
  • A project within your approved service area
  • A project that fits the service and scope criteria established for your company
  • Valid homeowner contact information
  • A scheduled date and time for the appointment
  • Any additional qualification requirements established for that service or your account

The exact qualification, credit, cancellation, and appointment rules for your company are provided before you begin receiving appointments.

Choose what your company receives

Your account is configured around the work your company actually wants.

Services

Choose the specific services and project types you want to receive.

Territory

Define the ZIP codes, cities, counties, or other areas your company serves.

Project size

Tell us which projects are too small, ideal, or outside your preferred range.

Availability

Let us know your normal appointment days, hours, lead time, and scheduling limitations.

Project preferences

Repair versus replacement, materials, financing availability, residential versus commercial, and other requirements that matter to your company.

Exclusive or shared

Take appointments exclusively, so a project goes to your company only — or leave them shared if you’d rather not limit what you receive. Your choice, set per account.

Your capacity changes

If your schedule fills up or you want to focus elsewhere, your preferences can be updated. The goal isn’t to send you every request — it’s to match you with what you agreed to receive.

What happens after an appointment is scheduled?

The homeowner gets what they need for the appointment, and your company gets the project and appointment details needed to prepare. From there, you control the relationship.

  • You perform the estimate
  • You determine pricing
  • You decide whether to accept the work
  • You contract directly with the homeowner
  • You keep the project revenue

The Project Desk’s role is to qualify, match, and coordinate the appointment.

A good fit for contractors who…

  • Want additional homeowner opportunities without managing another advertising campaign
  • Know which services and project sizes they want more of
  • Can respond promptly to scheduled homeowners
  • Maintain the licensing, insurance, and registrations applicable to their work
  • Have a professional estimating and follow-up process
  • Want the flexibility to adjust what they receive as capacity changes

The Project Desk may limit participation by service, geography, capacity, performance, or other program requirements.
